Calico & Old Lace creates timeless quilted jackets and vests using Seminole Patchwork and free-motion quilting on the sewing machine. Machine-embroidery and embellishments of old lace and buttons compliment the style of these garments. Applique designs are added features on some jackets and vests to give the garment more depth and intrigue.
Quilted garments are made in standard sizes or custom tailored to fit. Designs are contemporary or traditional and are made as a one-of-a-kind original. Color choices are endless for the patchwork and the free-motion quilting showcases the silk threads as each design is sewn into the garment.
The jackets and vests are sewn of quality cotton fabric and silk threads. The buttons are made of RAKU-fired clay. The garments are washable and line dried for easy care.
