The ARTISANS CENTER OF VIRGINIA is a state-wide artisan gallery and network of artists all over Virginia. It has many exhibitions throughout the year showcasing the artists in the gallery. It is a consignment gallery that showcases my garments.
The ROUND THE MOUNTAIN organization is a collective group of artisans in the southwest region of Virginia promoting the various artists in the mountains. The organization is joined through Artisan Trails that lead to the studio offering a closer look at the work I create. The organization is spearheaded with an extensively established museum of Appalachian artworks.
VISIT FLOYD.ORG is the local Chamber of Commerce in Floyd, VA. It is an organization that promotes the local artists in the region and capitalizes on the specialness of rural Floyd, Va. and its quaint little town with one traffic light. The Chamber of Commerce is a great resource for customers visiting this region to find the special things that are handmade or inherent to this area.
PARADISE CITY ART FESTIVAL is a retail fine art show I attend regularly in the Northeast corridor. I attend this show regularly for customers to see new items I make and to renew old ties with me as they enjoy the jackets and vests they have purchased. Located in Northampton, Massachusetts, this show is a wonderful connection to the world at large giving me the opportunity to hear what my customers want from quilted garments. Custom orders are always welcome at the shows where I can personally meet with each customer. The webpage offered by the Paradise City Arts management is an invaluable tool for me to reach customers who are looking for a one of a kind piece of wearable art.
